Welcome to the Ice Beers Adult Hockey League, where passion for the game meets organized, competitive play!

Our league operates under the guidelines and regulations set forth by USA Hockey, ensuring a standardized and fair playing experience for all participants. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to the sport, our league offers a structured environment where players of all skill levels can thrive.

Gameplay in our league follows traditional ice hockey rules, with a few modifications to accommodate the adult demographic:

Teams and Divisions: Teams are typically formed through a draft process or by registering as a group. We offer multiple divisions based on skill level, ensuring that teams compete against opponents of similar abilities.

Game Format: Games are typically played with three periods, each lasting a designated amount of time (usually 15-20 minutes). We adhere to USA Hockey's regulations regarding game length and stoppage time.

Equipment: All players are required to wear full protective gear, including helmets, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, shin guards, and skates. Goalies must wear additional goaltending equipment, including leg pads, a chest protector, a blocker, a catcher, and a mask.

Officiating: Our league employs referees to officiate games and enforce the rules of play. We prioritize fair competition and sportsmanship, and our officials ensure that games are conducted in a safe and respectful manner.

Penalties and Discipline:

Standings and Playoffs: Throughout the season, teams accumulate points based on wins, losses, and ties. At the end of the regular season, the top teams in each division advance to the playoffs, where they compete for the league championship.

Skill Development: In addition to game play, our league offers opportunities for skill development through clinics, workshops, and coaching sessions.
