The Mite Development Program is the premier path for young hockey players ready to take the next big step in their development. With over 50 hours of high-level, age-specific training led by qualified professional coaches, this program is designed to give 6–8-year-olds the strongest foundation possible after Learn to Play.

Mite Development Program (Ages 5–8)
The Mite Development Program is designed for 6–8-year-old players who have completed at least two seasons of Learn to Play Hockey and are ready for the next step in their hockey journey. This age-appropriate program focuses on building core skills like skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting, while introducing basic game concepts through small-area games and fun, competitive drills. Following USA Hockey’s ADM structure, players will develop confidence, teamwork, and hockey IQ in a structured, positive environment that prepares them for future team play.
