Try Hockey For Free
The Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears Try Hockey for Free event is the perfect opportunity for kids ages 4 to 10 to experience ice hockey in a fun, low-pressure environment, no experience necessary! We provide the gear, the ice time, and the instruction! Led by our experienced coaching staff, this one-day event gives your child a chance to skate, shoot, and play while parents get to see how fun and inclusive the game really is.
Why Try Hockey?
Hockey teaches teamwork, confidence, coordination, and resilience. It’s fast-paced, exciting, and most of all fun. We’re passionate about helping young players take their first stride in a positive, encouraging setting.
Spots are limited and pre-registration is required.

Example: Season begins with tryouts in August and runs until playoffs in February.
